Trying not to get lost in a scroll anymore.
0500 beckons each day. Gym time followed by windshield time and school drop offs. A few high priority meetings. I don’t attend anything live where I don’t have an active role anymore. If I need to I’ll read the summary or watch it back. More windshield time. Whole food. Teach Muay Thai a couple times a week for sanity. Maybe hot yoga to decompress. The books are back on the nightstand. Cormac McCarthy has taken up residence there now alongside Ryan Holiday and Dan Ariely.
Focusing on real connection during work trips. Connection to people and to place. Walk instead of Uber. Leave early, wander, explore.
The world is still there under the digital malaise. Trading blue light glasses for polarized lenses brings it to life.
Watch it! Lizard King is a sacred symbol to us ‘60s Mr Mojo Risin darklings. Not glitchy, even given the appalling numbers of counter-culture hippies who morphed into fascist yuppies. I hold on to my belief that whatever you can say about evil aging Deadheads, Beatlemaniacs, Airplane aciders, at least The End Doors cultists were not among the sellouts… were they?

Today I collect social media accounts from which I’ve been banned. Not so long ago I used to collect death threats and, unfortunately, curses. When I was a kid a zillion years ago, we collected baseball cards. What will it be tomorrow? I shudder to think.
